Review Time–>Wake Up Sid & Inglorious Basterds

Hi there,

Well i was thinking of what to write ,then it struck my mind that i had watched two movies recently so let me share my opinion about them. The first one was Wake Up Sid which is a pretty decent movie filled with amazing music , the story backdrop is not a new one wherein a boy from a rich family will not have a definite goal in life till he meets a girl and she changes his life. Ranbir Kapoor is awesome in this movie with his happy go lucky character and Konkana is absolutely brilliant. The movie has shots about friendship and how it is important in life and little family sentiment is also involved. No comments about the songs (absolutely amazing!!!!). I would say this movie is a must watch.

Now coming to the second movie of which i had very hopes,in the end i was pretty disappointed with director Quentin Tarantino’s effort
wherein first half of the movie was going nowhere, one scene not related to the other,for a moment i thought wait a second was this the same director who came up with movies like Kill Bill, Reservoir Dogs and Pulp Fiction. But the second half of the movie was kinda decent with a “bit” of action.Brad Pitt is amazing in the movie,his dialogue delivery and acting is superb. And i must add 70 percent of the movie there is no English,only subtitles. Overall movie was not up to the mark that i expected

Back in Bangalore…

Nowadays i stay in mysore as i am being trained there in Infosys (yes they are!) from the past two and half months, so i am not able to blog often(well i’m new anyway!).  But i do make time to come back to Bangalore and here i am back in this amazing place. I cant stop boasting about my hometown coz all my life i have lived in bangalore itself, the atmosphere here gives life to anyone around. I have fond memories of this place since childhood and i am pretty lucky to have been born and brought up here . Well everytime i am here my mood swings to the better as i can enjoy and hangout with my friends (well that’s my agenda when i come back!). Seriously every time i have come back here in the last two and half months ive enjoyed a lot.

This week i gotta go back earlier than most other times coz i gotta watch this movie “Wake Up Sid” playing in our multiplex, most of my friends say its a very nice movie so gotta watch it without fail.I will write the review of the movie when i get back here( if i have time ). I also gotta play FIFA 09  this week after a long long time ( wow! what a relief). Yes i am  a FIFA freak…
